Year 8 Mosaics

Before leaving this year each year 8 contributed to a mosaic panel that they designed and created to represent something about themselves. The panels were finally unveiled on Monday the 19th December.

Room 20 becoming Tennis Pros

Recently we have been learning how to play Grasshopper Tennis, with a bloke named Marcell. Tennis has been quite easy for some of us. This week was our 2nd time going to these lessons, and we keep on progressing and developing new skills every time.

Charlie's Goals

It's great to have Charlie back in Room 20 with us - we've been setting some goals for him on his return.

My achievement I am most proud of this year is my Writing because I am better at it now than I was at the start of the year.

The learning area I think I need to improve in most is MATHS especially my time tables.

My goal for this year around the classroom is to ‘Take Charge
of my behaviour. To do this I need to listen to the teacher.

My goal for this year around the school is to …be good and stay out of trouble.

Thank you from Camp TC

Recently we had our Annual Year 7 and 8 Camp, which this year was called 'Camp TC'. And 'Take Charge' we did. However as is always the case, we still required a good deal of help and support from a wonderful group of adults.

So this is a huge shout out and thank you to all of those wonderful parents and whanau who helped to ensure that we were well fed, safe and happy for the duration of Camp TC.

And despite all the hardwork - we hope you enjoyed it too! We are all truly grateful and feel blessed that you could spend time with us at Camp.

Me and Kayde(My Buddy) decided to do this year's theme throughout this, RESPONSIBILITY!!! In this movie, it shows and reminds people of how, Responsibility is a very important value!!!!! Netbooks

In the first day of school we started using net books! It was an exciting feeling that we shared together, as we opened the laptops for the very first time. Even though we had Internet issues, we didn't let that problem get us down.
