Thank you from Camp TC
Recently we had our Annual Year 7 and 8 Camp, which this year was called 'Camp TC'. And 'Take Charge' we did. However as is always the case, we still required a good deal of help and support from a wonderful group of adults.
So this is a huge shout out and thank you to all of those wonderful parents and whanau who helped to ensure that we were well fed, safe and happy for the duration of Camp TC.
And despite all the hardwork - we hope you enjoyed it too! We are all truly grateful and feel blessed that you could spend time with us at Camp.
Thank you everyone.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it(:

Hey Ronald,
We know you've been having fun at Camp but we're all really looking forward to having you back at school. How lucky are you going from one Camp straight to another.

Netbooks
In the first day of school we started using net books! It was an exciting feeling that we shared together, as we opened the laptops for the very first time. Even though we had Internet issues, we didn't let that problem get us down. Up top are the first thoughts that came in to our minds when we explored the net books!

Little Critters Market Day
What a fantastic event this turned out to be. A great deal of effort, a lot of thought and certainly a tonne of creativity, meant that the inaugural Year 7 'Little Critter Market Day' was a huge success.
Thanks to Mrs Tele'a for capturing some of the action!

French Lessons with Monsieur Griffiths
This term we have started to learn French. We are very lucky because Mr Griffiths from Tamaki College comes down to teach us. We began by learning to greet each other and ask how people are. And our latest lessons have been on numbers and telling the time.
If anyone needs a reminder about the numbers and how to pronounce them properly check out the follwing clip. So listen and repetez!
I hope it helps!

Mrs Katu

Last week Pt England lost one of our teachers who passed away. Mrs Katu had been teaching at Pt England School for a very long time. Over the years she had helped to teach lots of us to read and touched the hearts and lives of many.
Mrs Nua asked the Year 7's to write 3 or 4 words or sentences that they thought best described Mrs Katu and we put them in to the following Wordle.

The Terrible Crime!
A couple of weeks ago, there was a terrible crime that happened near our school. Helicopters we're flying around and police sirens we're going off. Our whole school we're on lock down, we had to lock all the doors and the windows, and stay inside.
