Senior Kapa Haka

This year the Year 7's are working with Whaea Raewyn to learn various waiata and haka. The featured movie is a short snippet of one of the practices.
Ms Tito has also started up a Senior Kapa Haka group that some of the Year 7's have chosen to be part of. We'll keep you posted on how they are going and when they will be performing.

Putting Kapa Haka online for a national and international audience is a really positive idea and one that should get you not only a huge audience but plenty of positive feedback! I look forward to seeing some of the Waiata and performances online in the future. Great first effort.

How great to have a "senior" kapa haka group. Perhaps later in the year, you could come and perform for our students - we would love to have you at Tamaki Primary showing our kapa haka group what they can aspire to. Our group's name is Te Whanau Aniwaniwa - look forward to hearing more of you all.
