Tuakana - Teina Day One

This week our class began a partnership with the Year 1 classes. The aim of this Programme is to assist the juniors in their elearning. It's our job as Tuakana to help the little ones learn some of the basic ICT skills so that they have a great foundation for their future at Pt England School. For us it is a chance to be great role models and teachers.
Take a look and see us in action.

Kia Ora Room 20,
I think it's fantastic that you're all helping out with the Year 1's and teaching them some e-learning skills. What a great idea! The little Year 1's are so lucky to have you all help them. Keep up the great work.

This is such a great idea! I loved the high five about half way through the movie, it made it seem like a great teaching moment! I love the fact that you are passing on your skills to the younger children! What a great idea and I am sure this is a wonderful help to the Y1 students!

Hey Seniors

You guys are pretty awesome! The Junior school will learn heaps from you because I think that you are more experienced and skilled at using different ICT's than most people in NZ (or maybe even in the world!). Fantastic idea!

Kia Orana Rm 7,
Thank you so much for working with our little ones on Tuesdays. They are going to be real Champions by the time they get to year 7.

All of them love having help to learn more quickly and they especially love getting to know you big kids.

Love from Mrs Jarman
