Room 20 becoming Tennis Pros

Recently we have been learning how to play Grasshopper Tennis, with a bloke named Marcell. Tennis has been quite easy for some of us. This week was our 2nd time going to these lessons, and we keep on progressing and developing new skills every time.

Charlie's Goals

It's great to have Charlie back in Room 20 with us - we've been setting some goals for him on his return.

My achievement I am most proud of this year is my Writing because I am better at it now than I was at the start of the year.

The learning area I think I need to improve in most is MATHS especially my time tables.

My goal for this year around the classroom is to ‘Take Charge
of my behaviour. To do this I need to listen to the teacher.

My goal for this year around the school is to …be good and stay out of trouble.

Maths Whizzes!

Here are our top two students for Maths Whizz this week. They're 'Taking Charge' of their learning with the help of Maths Whizz. Well done girls.

Thank you from Camp TC

Recently we had our Annual Year 7 and 8 Camp, which this year was called 'Camp TC'. And 'Take Charge' we did. However as is always the case, we still required a good deal of help and support from a wonderful group of adults.

So this is a huge shout out and thank you to all of those wonderful parents and whanau who helped to ensure that we were well fed, safe and happy for the duration of Camp TC.

And despite all the hardwork - we hope you enjoyed it too! We are all truly grateful and feel blessed that you could spend time with us at Camp.

Thank you everyone.

RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!!!

In this wacky term, our AWESOME teacher Mrs Nua, gave us a task to do. She said that we had to make a small snippet of one our Pt England School Values!!!!!!!!! Me and Kayde(My Buddy) decided to do this year's theme throughout this, RESPONSIBILITY!!! In this movie, it shows and reminds people of how, Responsibility is a very important value!!!!! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it(:

See you soon Ronald!

Hey Ronald,
We know you've been having fun at Camp but we're all really looking forward to having you back at school. How lucky are you going from one Camp straight to another.

Any thoughts???

Netbooks

In the first day of school we started using net books! It was an exciting feeling that we shared together, as we opened the laptops for the very first time. Even though we had Internet issues, we didn't let that problem get us down.

Up top are the first thoughts that came in to our minds when we explored the net books!

Little Critters Market Day

What a fantastic event this turned out to be. A great deal of effort, a lot of thought and certainly a tonne of creativity, meant that the inaugural Year 7 'Little Critter Market Day' was a huge success.
Thanks to Mrs Tele'a for capturing some of the action!
